The AMA Dragbike motorcycle drag racing association announces that Tiger Racing Products has been named the Official Chain Guard of the series. With the title, Tiger Racing has posted contingency in all the sportbike classes contested at AMA Dragbike events.
Tiger Racing Products was started in 2002 by racer Guy Caputo, initially offering sportbike fender eliminator kits. Keeping an eye toward the need of the high-speed racer, Caputo expanded the line with innovative high-quality specialty aluminum products geared to the sportbike racer.
“This is a perfect match,” said AMA Dragbike president Scott Valetti. “Guy has been a colleague and personal friend for years. He has a tremendous reputation in this industry and he produces high quality products. Our racers will benefit from the additional safety his chain guards provide.”

For Caputo, who holds the nitrous land speed record of 228.803 mph on his Hayabusa “Tiger”, the sponsorship was an easy choice.
"It's the racers that have given me my blessings in business prosperity and it's just my way of giving back,” he said. “AMA Dragbike has been innovative on expanding their sportbike classes and providing racers with a professionally run series and I want to be part of their growth.”
In addition to his high-speed exploits, Caputo is perhaps best know as being a contributing editor of the Dragbike.com website for many years.
With the contingency program, Tiger Racing Products will pay $50.00 to win and $25.00 for a R/U in the following AMA Dragbike classes: Pro Street (PST), Super Street (SST), Super Sport (SS), Real Street (RST), Street Fight (SF - 9.50) and Street ET (SET).
The requirements are that all participants must run a Tiger Racing Chain Guard with "Tiger Racing" stamped on the top strap or underneath the Top Strap to qualify for the program. Additionally, racers must display a Tiger Racing sticker on both sides of the motorcycle.
